Surviving in the Rain!

Whether your like Gene Kelly and enjoy "Singing in the Rain" or like Annie and can't wait for the "Sun to Come Out", everyone has a hard time figuring out what to wear in the rain. Most people would slap on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, but we shall conquer this drabness!
Step One: Invest in some ADORABLE rain boots. If theres one thing you don't want to do, its to go out in your new suede pumps or your leather combat boots. But, you don't want to wear some boring rain boots do you? I decided on my black Hunter boots that have a quilt-like pattern on them. They are so adorable and they have an elegant silhouette to them.

Step Two: Protect yourself from the rain, but DON'T layer too much. Rain typical brings on warm, humid weather rather than chilly weather. You don't want to smother yourself, yet you don't want to be too cold or get too wet. I wore a lightweight shirt with a military-style jacket over it. This enables me to stay at the perfect temperature, yet I I get too warm I can take my jacket off!

Step Three: Don't be afraid to accessorize! Even though it's yucky outside doesn't mean you have to wear something plain! Spice it up with a fun necklace or chic rings! Be creative!

Step Four: Wear your hair in a manageable fashion. Humidity= frizzy hair, and no one wants that! I like to wear mine in a messy bun because it's very easy, yet it looks cute.

Thanks for reading and I'll post again soon! xoxo

February GlamBag

After a frustrating period of time and a very long wait, my GlamBag has finally arrived! Although my expectations weren't entirely met, they redeemed themselves with some pretty cool products. It came with a NYX roll on shimmer in purple, X Out shine control, premier dead sea Cinderella mask, Freeman Facial mask sachets in pineapple, and (my personal favorite) A $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO NUME!!!!! The gift certificate is was what made me LOVE this GlamBag! It also came with some Ghirardelli chocolate, but they were quickly devoured. Overall, it was an okay GlamBag, but I would like more make-up products in next months GlamBag. I'll post next months bag as well!
